ExamLock Download Instructions

Thank you for making the switch to ExamLock for your online testing needs!

Before you proceed with the installation, it is important that you write down your access code and login information. Once the installation is complete, and the access code is entered, all prohibited browsers and applications will be shutdown. You will also lose access to short cut keys and browser minimization as requested by your test administrator.

If you leave the ExamLock browser, or attempt the functions as mentioned, you will be disabled from the test and you will have to restart the process.

Below you will find the instructions on how to download the Secure browser for:

• Mac
• Andriod, IOS, and Linux Applications

ExamLock Download Instructions for Windows:

• Go to http://examlock.io
• Go to the Download tab and choose your Operating System, then click Install Now. You have the option to choose either a 32 bit or a 64 bit download. If you are not sure which to choose for your system, you may check your system requirements by going to System Properties.
• Once you have chosen the required version, the file will begin to download. When the download complete, double click on the ExamLock.exe file and click Run to install ExamLock (The ExamLock short cut icon will be located on your Desktop screen).
• When the installation is complete click Finish. At this time all prohibited browsers and applications will shut down.
• You will then be prompted to enter the Access Code previously given by your Test Administrator.

ExamLock Download Instructions for Mac:

• Go to http://examlock.io.
• Go to Download tab and choose you Operating system, then click on the Download icon.
• Double click (or right click and select Open with the package installer) on the ExamLock.pkg and click Continue, then click Install (The ExamLock short cut can be found in the Applications Icon).
• Once the download and installation are complete, all prohibited browsers and applications will shut down.
• You will be prompted to enter the Access Code previously given by your Test Administrator.

ExamLock Download Instructions for Andriod:

• Go to the Google Play Store App or your Kindle App.
• Search for the ExamLock App and click Install.
• You will be prompted to enter the Access Code previously given by your Test Administrator.

ExamLock Download Instructions for IOS:

• Go to the Apple App Store.
• Search for the ExamLock App and click Install.
• Once installation and download are complete, click Open.
• You will be prompted to enter the Access Code previously given by your Test Administrator.
